Baby Boy Primus update...
Well...we are still patiently(ok, so not so patiently) awaiting the arrival of our little boy. I had my 36 week appointment on October 14th and was told I was 4 cm. dilated and 80% effaced. The doctor said that the baby could come anytime! 1 week and 1 day later....I had my 37 week appointment and was still dilated to 4 (maybe 4 1/2) and was slightly more effaced at 90%. Doctor had me go up to the birthing center to get hooked up to monitors for a non-stress test to make sure I was not having any contractions and to monitor the babe's heart rate, which at my appointment was at a very high 187. 40 minutes later I hadn't had any contractions and the heartbeat had stabilized to a normal level, and we were sent on our merry way home! So needless to say we are still waiting to welcome our little one, but I am actually feeling really good which I guess is a good thing! My next appointment with the doctor is October 28th, so pray that I go before then or I at least have some progress! So, I guess we keep waiting! We will keep the blog updated when he finally makes his arrival!

A day in the life of a TWO year old???
So the other day I was in the kitchen baking an apple cobbler, I thought Miss Addison was being awfully quite so I peeked around the kitchen corner to find her like this:
sitting in a PILE of Rice Krispies....Rice Krispies that started off in the pantry in the kitchen, the same kitchen I was standing in. So tell me how a two year old opened the pantry door, pulled out the rice krispies and dumped them all over the floor without Mommy hearing??? MAGIC :)
She sure seemed to enjoy it, and instead of telling her she was naughty the first thing I had to do was grab the camara! It was so cute, yet so naughty!

A trip to Blue Ridge Apple Orchard...
A few weeks ago, my friend Abbey and I decided to take a trip to the Apple Orchard in Denver. The hubbies thought they needed a little time for a fishing trip so we thought we might as well do some thing fun with the kids too:) We walked through the Orchard and got to pick some Gala apples. Each of the big kids got their very own basket to hold on to and fill full of apples. Needless to say, I am pretty sure that every apple that ended up in either one of their baskets ended up thrown on the ground first! I am surprised they weren't more bruised when we actually got them home!! Once we picked the apples we went to the little apple stand they had there and tasted samples of all the apples at the Orchard and then made our purchases! I found a new favorite "sweet" apple, called a connell red (not a great baking apple but very good to eat). We also bought some baking apples which we have used already to bake a pie, crisp, and cobbler....apple desserts are my all time favorite! We had a great day for our little trip and had fun too!! Enjoy a few pictures from the day.
